Ellen Degeneres has been named by JCPenney as their spokesperson. Popular hate group, One Million Moms, has denounced her and JCPenney for this decision in their usual fashion of narrow-minded bigotry. Shortwave America supports Ellen and JCPenney for their team work and the message it sends. This purely says from a healthy standpoint that LGBT individuals are part of the community and that they aren't something or someone to fear. Perhaps if we had more tolerant and enlightened people in the world such as the folks at JCPenney, we could get past the American national neurosis surrounding important issues such as this.
